How do we measure return from our social networking?

How do we measure return from our social networking?For many of us, answering the question ‘What are you doing’ is analogous to checking our email – we do it several times a day and it’s become second nature.  But for every new social network we jump on, there are friends, families, and colleagues who will ask us ‘Why are you doing it?’

They’re questioning what drives and motivates us to open up our daily lives to anyone and everyone, when it’s possible that no one’s listening.   They can’t imagine opening a Twitter account and talking to an empty room, so why do we bother? (more…)

Blogging from my iPodWoo hoo! Pretty impressed with wordpress’ new app for iPod/iphone. I shall never have an excuse not to blog from now on. Except for wi-fi. And the iPod’s predictive multitap is excellent!

Growing Pains

Wordpress have just released their 2.5 version, which is an all-rounder of an upgrade – new interface design, new functionalities, new everything.  But unfortunately it also means that there are some serious growing pains.  For instance my entire portfolio section seems to be fubar’d from the upgrade, and I’m trying my hardest to fix it.  So for those of you who are finding sections of this site to be a bit ‘wonky’, please excuse them, and be sure that they’ll be fixed ASAP!
