25 of the best SweetCron-powered Lifestreams

Lifestreaming. It can be defined as ‘an automated, effective way to centralize one’s various web activities into a single, unified website or stream’ and it can take various forms. Some people use services like FriendFeed or Tumblr, whilst others opt to make their own. Whichever way you choose to aggregate your activities, the fact remains that a platform is becoming very necessary to pull them all together.

SweetCron is one such platform, and is quickly becoming the first choice for many lifestreamers. Offering great functionality, maximum extensibility and high customization, it lets a lifestreamer input their feeds, tweak the code (and design) and let the software do the rest.

Did I mention it’s highly customizable? Without further a do, here are 25 of the best SweetCron-powered Lifestreams out there in no particular order. As always, if you have suggestions or think I’ve missed a great example, post a comment below!

Hey mate, cheers for the mention.

Personally I think your own website and lifestream should be ranked a lot higher up that list, if not at the top itself. Stop being so modest and give yourself some credit.

I’ve got to get around to redesigning my own website some time and yours has given me a lot more inspiration!

@Ancyru Thank you! I don’t need the credit though, it’s all good, but I do appreciate the vote of confidence.

The lifestreams listed above are 100% ranked in the order I found them, and most definitely not in any order of preference. However placing mine at the end was intentional; I do need to be humble and give some love to the fellow SweetCron’ers out there, such as yourself.

Thanks again, and happy lifestreaming :-)

    Hey, thanks for the mention!

Fantastic list! Honored to be along side some of these guys.

Great to see so many people powering the Sweetcron platform. I launched my lifestream on Sweetcron the day after it went live, wish you had given me some notice and I would have dropped unravel v.3 for the occasion ;)

@Juan – It was noticed, and it’s great, hence it’s listing here!

@Chris – The second you do launch v.3, come back here and post it and I’ll gladly replace it on the list! …we’re waiting :)

@Dave – Your lifestream at http://www.seemyartwork.com is wicked! Great use of JS, and loving the Last.fm feed action.

@inerd. Sorry for missing your lifestream – it looks great! Kudos to Evan Eckard (http://www.evaneckard.com/) for the ‘Cellar Heat’ theme that you’ve used and adapted for your own LifeStream theme. You did a great job in SweetCronning it!

I’ve just redesigned http://juanromero.ch , feel free to throw some feedback my way :)
I’ve used bits and pieces from the existing designs and really tried to keep things simple.

This time I tried to stay away from the boxy-ish, well, boxes to make it look like less “advertisy-ish”.

Well to be honest I quit my Sweetcron Installation. It is a nice project, but it is only a try. The version 1.08e is not been updated since 1 year … Only a Google-Group is there out for help … That´s not enough in these days of the web …

    Sorry …
